Rosehip powder is extracted by milling dried fruits of wild rose shrub (Rosa canina) cultivated in ecological farming on slopes of Andean mountains in the south of Chile. It is a significant source of vitamin C, polyphenols, organic acids and essential oils. Thanks to its nutritional values, rosehip has been used commonly in traditional medicine for centuries. Vitamin C supports function of immune system, contributes to protection of cells against oxidative stress and reduction of the level of fatigue and exhaustion.
