Cranberries (Vaccinum macrocarpon) originating from North America are valued as a strong natural antioxidant. They contain natural minerals, vitamins, trace elements, organic acids, dietary fibre and polyphenols. The native inhabitants of America had already used them for their strong anti-inflammatory properties. Nowadays, they are frequently applied in alternative medicine. The cranberry powder, thanks to the location of its origin and method of processing, is characterized by a high content of proanthocyanidins and reaches remarkably high value on the ORAC scale (a scale measuring the antioxidant capacity of foods).

The cranberry powder is suitable for preparation of coctails, milkshakes or smoothies. It can be added into muesli, yogurts, deserts or sorbets. It is often used not only for sweet dishes but as well for preparation of meat meals.
Dosage: 1-2 teaspoons per day. Mix the powder thoroughly with water, milk or another drink. Do not heat up!
