The evening primrose oil is extracted from seeds of the evening primrose plant (Oenothera biennis) grown in ecological farming. The oil is gently pressed at low temperatures below 40 °C, with absence of light and air and without using chemical solvents. The oil is bottled in an inert atmosphere and thus the oxidation of unsaturated fatty acids is inhibited.
It is characterized by light yellow colour with natural taste of the evening primrose seeds.
It is a rich source of essential unsaturated fatty acids, especially linoleic acid and gamma-linolenic acid, which are crucial for building cellular membranes and creation of beneficial prostaglandins. They play an important role in our immune system.
By applying the evening primrose oil, you can minigate various skin eczemas and rashes. In cosmetics, it is used for regeneration of old skin, for difficult complexion and hair (in the form of oil packs and masks) or nails. Favourable effects of the evening primrose oil will be appreciated mostly by women, especially effects on reducing menstrual difficulties or during menopause because it optimizes hormonal balance. It also regulates blood pressure, heart activity and reduces cholesterol level. It positively affects metabolism of fats, accelerates fat burning and inhibits fat deposition and thus represents an excellent aid in dieting. It also has beneficial effects in hyperactive children, people suffering from schizophrenia, joint inflammations and disseminated sclerosis. it reduces severe head-ache and depressions. External application enhances blood perfusion of upper and lower limbs and thus reduces possibility of occurrence of varices. The evening primrose oil strengthens the overall immunity of human body.
In relation to the content of unsaturated fatty acids, the oil is not suited for heating up. These beneficial acids are destroyed at higher temperatures and may even transform into harmful substances. The evening primrose oil is excellent for cold-dish preparation, for salads, dressings and seasoning finished meals.
This product is not suitable for expectant and nursing mothers and children under 3 years. In case you continually take medicines or suffer from epilepsy, consult your physician before using this oil regularly.

Recommended dosage 1.5–3 g a day (1–2 tea spoons). It is recommended to start with smaller dosages and increase them gradually. Do not exceed the recomended daily dose. No suitable for a balanced diet. Not to be given to children under 3 years.
External use: Rub in gently in the skin, as needed.
Storage: Store at temperature below 20 °C. Refrigerate after opening. Close the bottle thoroughly. Keep away from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
